I use an ultra wide angle 14-24mm lens to capture these panoramic shots. Most are a combination of more than 3 images.
More effort goes into getting to the locations where I am able to capture these images rather than taking the actual shot. Some, such as the Lake Rhona images, took 3 days hiking carrying packs and heavy camera equipment. The rewards are truly worth it and I hope you get a feel of what I experienced through these panoramic images.
