If you are passionate about photography and want to learn how I venture into the wilderness and captures the images you see on my site then these tours could be for you. I will teach you everything I know about how to venture into the Tasmanian wild places, capture stunning images and come home safely with a memory that lasts a lifetime.
To go on these tours you must have a good level of fitness and be able to carry your own pack, equipment and camera gear over rough terrain on a multi day hike. I do not offer luxury camping, my experiences are the real deal when it comes to wilderness photography. You might get wet, bruised, muddy and scraped but you’ll definitely have a good time.

Epic landscapes, minblowing forests, huge waterfalls and locations where you are guaranteed to take pictures your friends will be envious of
Hardcore bushwalking in the wilderness to see epic locations abs photograph them.
I can offer a proper camping experience, none of this glamping stuff. If you feel like getting yourself or yourself and a group out of your comfort zone and capturing nature like a true landscape photographer then read on.
There will be early morning rises to catch available light, long hikes, muddy, wet conditions.
Hopefully we will be out in the rain and you might skip over. But I’ll keep you safe and take you to the spots I know are the best.
Ive been teaching people for many years now and 99% of my classes sell out. I enjoy helping people capture images that inspire them to go and develop thier talent. I also use the opportunity to expose them to the beauty of our wild places.
Ive also been exploring the Tasmanian wilderness for close on 20 years now and I know where and when to visit certain locations. On my tours I will take you to the places that I love and know can offer up stunning photogrphy and bushwalking experiences.
You will eat proper bushwalking food, sleep rough and immerse yourself in the Tasmanian Wilderness. I promise ythat you will forget the stresses of modern life and your mind will slow down and relax.
Mobile phones are strictly for photography only but themust be kept on flight mode. You mission if you choose it is immerse yourself in what your doing, to detach from the stresses of life and relax. We understand this may cause angst amongst some but rest assured that it will pass. No social media or contact with the outside world is allowed from the time we met till the time we say goodbye. You will make friends and form bonds with others in the group, we will laugh, possibly cry and hopefully you will go home with a few scrapes and bruises. Above all, I will do our best to make sure you go home with the desire to come back.
Groups are capped at 4 persons so we can manage your tuition, engage with each other and minimise the impact on Tasmania’s environment.
We will teach you about the gear we use to go into the wild places and come home safely again.
There are certain requirements you must meet to come on our adventutres, these are non-negotiable
You must have a good level of fitness to come on these adventures
You must be ready to get outside of your comfort zone
Packs will be heavy and you have to carry your own
Extreme Art - Tasmanian Wilderness Tours is a collaboration between twin Tasmanian brothers with similar passion and appreciation of the Tasmanian wilderness but completely different approaches to how they caprture it.

The stories you tell about your weekend at work on Monday will be better than anyone elses and everyone will be jealous of the images on your phone. The only downside to my tours is actually going home, apart from the nice comfy bed and warm showers.
